In the 1950s, an alien microbe comes to Siberia in the middle of nowhere. In 2004, a US scientist working in a top-secret underground lab in Alaska cloned the microbe, which was found in the year 2004. It sounds like a garbled distress signal is coming from the lab just before the whole place is shut down. They sent this as their last word. It's up to scientists and military people to figure out what went wrong with the project.
