Deliver Us from Eva

Eva Dandridge is an extremely self-conscious young woman who is constantly meddling in her sisters' and husbands' affairs. Eva's in-laws, fed up with her interfering with their lives, plan to arrange for her to marry someone so she will leave them alone. They ultimately pay Ray, the neighborhood's "playboy," $5,000 to date her. The plot proceeds without incident, but complications arise as Ray develops feelings for Eva.
