A bubbly college student, Alexandra is back in her dorm after the summer break, where she will dwell with her roommates Jessica and Breanne. After a night of drinking, Alex agrees to a psychic reading to learn more about her future with her boyfriend, Brian, but something goes terribly wrong during the reading. When Alex wakes up the next morning, she has no recollection of what happened the night before. Suddenly, she begins to hear ominous noises and see ghostly images. She also begins to black out and develop inexplicable scratch marks all over her body. She seeks assistance from her friends because she believes she is going insane, but Jessica, Breanne, and Brian are unable to realize the scale of the darkness that is falling UPON her. Instead, Alex receives assistance from a school professor and his father, both of whom have experience dealing with the otherworldly.
