Dheepan
To flee the civil conflict in Sri Lanka, three people who have lost everything—a soldier who is tired of fighting, a young woman, and a small girl—pose as a family and pretend to be a normal family. They emigrate to France and live in a chaotic area on the outskirts of Paris, where it appears that the law has been abolished; yet, they, who scarcely know each other, struggle to survive in this chaotic environment, even as the ghosts of war begin to haunt them once more.
