Dirty Pretty Things

An urban hotel in London attracts legal and illegal immigrants trying to build new lives. Senay, a Turkish woman, and Okwe, a Nigerian doctor who works as a night porter at the hotel, are among the immigrants. The two realize that the hotel is a front for a variety of illegal enterprises. Their sole desire is to avoid deportation. When Okwe is called to fix a toilet in one of the rooms, he becomes more involved in the situation. He discovers that a human heart has clogged the pipes.
