Don't Go Breaking My Heart

Cheng Zixin (Gao Yuan-Yuan), a Mainlander and financial analyst who followed her then-boyfriend Owen (Terence Yin) to Hong Kong, runs into her ex-boyfriend while riding the bus. Owen is now married to his pregnant wife, and when she notices Owen talking to his ex, she freaks out. Cheng rushes off the bus and is nearly hit by a car while in a daze. Fang (Daniel Wu), a haggard drunk, then saves Cheng. Meanwhile, CEO Cheung Shen (Louis Koo) sits in a nearby car, watching everything that happens. CEO Cheung Shen is a playboy who works in the same office building as Cheng Zixin. Cheung Shen quickly begins wooing Cheng Zixin by sending her messages through the window of his office building. A few weeks later, Cheng Zixin runs into the drunken haggard Fang who saved his life. The drunk haggard turns out to be a Canadian-born top architect dealing with personal issues. They quickly become friends.
