Millions are infected and hundreds of thousands are killed as the devastating Reaper virus sweeps over the United Kingdom. However, the virus resurfaces in a large metropolis three decades after it was successfully quarantined by the government with brutality and success. It is imperative that an elite group of specialists be despatched inside the still-quarantined country in order to obtain a cure by any means necessary. The unit is cut off from the rest of the world and must fight its way across a landscape that has turned into a waking nightmare.
