Drums Along the Mohawk

John Ford's adventure story is set in the colonial era of the United States, and it tells the story of Gilbert (Henry Fonda) and Lana Martin (Claudette Colbert) as they try to survive on the rough frontier. A spinster takes the couple in after they are attacked by Indians over and over again at their home (Edna May Oliver). Lana gives birth to a son. Gilbert goes to fight the Indians and the British. They are still attacking his family when he comes back, and he is hurt.
