Five Graves to Cairo

Leaving only one survivor on the Egyptian border, the British Army retreats ahead of Rommel, who takes sanctuary in an isolated desert hotel. He gets help from the hotel's owner, even though the French chambermaid, who is afraid that Rommel and the Germans are coming soon, tries to stop him. As a means of surviving, John assumes the persona of a recently deceased waiter.
