Forbidden Games
Paulette, a young Parisian girl orphaned by a Nazi air raid, meets Michel, an older peasant boy, and the two quickly become close. They try to make sense of the chaotic and crumbling world around them, coping with death as they build a burial ground for Paulette's deceased pet dog. However, Paulette's stay with Michel's family is eventually jeopardized by the harsh realities of wartime.
