When the body of a man is located completely damaged in the swamps in Louisiana, the medical private investigator Sam Rivers is designated to examine the murder. He takes a trip with the biologist Mary Callahan to the area where the victim stayed in a floating residence and also he satisfies his family and friends. They discover that Chinese snake-heads genetically crafted that come from a rich seeker are attacking and eliminating the residents. While the group fights to endure, the seeker Jeff shows up with his group to search the predators.
