Khalid, the multi-platinum award-winning global superstar, will accompany his highly anticipated sophomore album "Free Spirit" with a special companion short film, also titled "Free Spirit," which will be presented as a one-night event in cinema theaters around the world. The big screen debut of "Free Spirit" will be followed by an exclusive early listen to the album at this unique fan gathering. Khalid and Emil Nava wrote and directed "Free Spirit," a short film. It's a direct creative parallel to his new album, in which Khalid uses the new music to express stories about the beauty and pain of growing up, like he has done in the past. As a companion piece, this film focuses on his lyrics and craftsmanship by telling a visual story. The night will go off with a special introduction for fans, followed by a screening, and then an album listening session with never-before-seen commentary from Khalid.
