Gabbeh
During their ritual of cleaning their gabbeh (an intricately embroidered rug), an elderly couple gently bickers with one another. A young woman emerges out of nowhere to assist the two in cleaning the rug. According to the rug, this young woman is from the clan whose history is reflected in the gabbeh's design, and it tells the narrative of a stranger from the tribe who courted her and brought her to his home.
