Gallipoli
As World War I goes on, Archy and Frank, two young, brave Australians who are both good runners, become friends and join the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps together. Later, they become part of the Dardanelles Campaign on the Gallipoli peninsula. This was an eight-month war between the British and their allies and the Ottoman Empire that was very violent and killed more than 500,000 men.
