Gauguin: Voyage to Tahiti

Paul Gauguin, a French painter living in Paris, travels to Tahiti in 1891 to rejuvenate his painting in a place devoid of European aesthetic conventions. He returns to Paris the following year. On his journey of discovery, he faces being alone and getting sick, but he also sees the beauty of wild nature and falls in love with Tehura, a young native girl who becomes his wife and model.
