Baby George is rescued and subsequently adopted by a wise ape after surviving a plane crash in the forest. Years later, George saves Ursula Stanhope, a US noblewoman, while she is on a safari and brings her to the bush to live with him. While Ursula's lover searches for her and the person who abducted her, George gradually learns the principles of human relationships.
