Loki is taken before Odin for punishment after being defeated on the battlefield by Thor. Loki, on the other hand, manages to escape to Earth by cunning and treachery. There, he will conquer humans and build an even larger army, which he will deploy in his drive for dominance throughout the Nine Realms and beyond. In wrath over the destruction of his home, Thor sets out to track down Loki, but on the way he is rendered powerless, and he awakens on Earth without his great hammer or even his memories. Thor is besieged by Loki's followers, who are hell-bent on stopping him...at any cost. He is alone and disoriented. Thor, with the assistance of a female human companion, battles his way northward in search of his mythical weapon of destruction.
