She was completely taken by surprise when she received a deluge of comments in reaction to the video. She has stated that she was "totally taken aback." "I had no idea gray hair was such a hot topic." She realized then that she had struck a chord and wished desperately to become more engaged, but she was just a few months away from relocating across the nation to her new home in Los Angeles, so she would have to wait. After spending a year in Los Angeles going through the standard new actress acclimatization process with little to show for it, she recognized she needed to develop her own content in order to stand out in the harsh environment of the film and television industry. It was at this point that she thought it was time to investigate the ever-growing interest in ladies with gray hair that she had noticed.
