Honesty is the only way. An undercover cop joins the fight against gang violence in downtown Washington, D.C. A young man is freed from prison and determined to start over. With no prospects in sight, he is drawn back into his only world...crime. He reconnects with his ex-best friend who has "made it big" as a drug dealer while in prison. In the end, money gets in the way of what was supposed to be a win-win situation. As loyalties are split, fury and violence erupt, demolishing all obstacles. To end the unnecessary fatalities, police lieutenant Redding (Morgan Freeman) must take matters into his own hands.
