Hatchback
Wyatt, a pessimistic narcoleptic who lives in a flop house-style apartment, aspires to be a journalist. His career ambitions are nearly crushed when he spots a mysterious female named Fern residing on his block in an 88' Toyota Tercel hatchback. Fern's father went away and was presumed killed when she was a small child living in Montana. After receiving a cryptic letter from a stranger named Dr. Green informing her that her father is alive and well in Los Angeles, she resolves to go hunt for him herself. Together, they set out to find Fern's elusive father among the city's decrepit corners, while developing a not-so-platonic interest in each other along the way.
