He Was a Quiet Man

Bob Maconel, a troubled lone worker in Los Angeles, thinks about blowing up the tower where he works. He brings a revolver to work with the plan to kill his coworkers and then himself. At home, he talks to his fish, who tell him to keep doing it. His boss treats him badly. While he's screwing up his courage, he drops a bullet. While he's on the floor looking for it, one of his coworkers does exactly what Bob had planned. Bob comes out as a hero, but the one person he likes at work, a woman with a big smile, is badly hurt. Can Bob help her get over her sadness and find happiness? Or, is this impossible for a man like him, as everyone says?
