Sydney Ragsdale, a recently divorced woman, decides to spend Christmas with her young daughter in a house she inherited. Sydney meets Mac, a teacher who also serves as the town Santa, as she spends more time at the local bookstore. Mac tries to grant Christmas wishes, and Sydney is at the top of his 'nice' list this year. As a new opportunity with the bookstore presents itself, Mac assists Sydney in re-opening herself to life, love, and believing in the spirit of Christmas.
