Hope Floats
Birdee Pruitt was humiliated on national television by her best friend, Connie, who has been having an affair with her husband, Bill. Birdee wants to start over with her daughter Bernice by returning to her little Texas hometown, but she is greeted by petty former acquaintances who are delighted to see Birdee miserable, with the exception of her buddy Justin. As he assists Birdee in regaining her footing, love begins to grow.
