I Am Sam

It's up to Sam to raise Lucy, his 7-year-old-aged daughter, on his own even though he himself has the mental capacity of a 7-year-old. However, as Lucy gets older, Sam's disabilities start to become more of a concern, and the authorities decide to remove her from their custody. Rita, a high-priced lawyer, is forced by Sam to represent him pro gratis after he publicly humiliates her. In return, Sam teaches Rita the importance of love and family.
