His wife Carmen physically attacked him. After that, her husband Pat started to wonder what was going on with his wife and what was going on with her. Carmen and Pat are only ready to face the unthinkable when Carmen can't find her own house one day. Carmen has early onset Alzheimer's, which means she can't remember where she lives. Eventually, Carmen will no longer be able to recognize her devoted husband. Pat takes refuge in his memories of their life together, the last place the disease can't get to.
