Hugo Winter season, a roguish American medication smuggler, takes a trip to Uganda in an attempt to export a huge amount of Bulu, a spiritual herb that approves the individual visions of their future. Upon getting here in Kampala, he quickly uncovers that his only means of achieving this is with 2 siblings with competing agendas, born-again Kisakye and also defiant Angela, that originate from the remote town of Makaana where the Bulu is grown. As they lead Hugo deeper right into the forest and even more right into their internet of deceit, it is uncertain if his drug-addled prophecies are aiding his mission or clouding his future.
