Indiscretion of an American Wife

Married American Mary Forbes finds herself involved in an affair with an Italian man, Giovanni Doria, while on vacation in Rome with her husband. She is about to depart Italy when Giovanni admits his feelings for her and expresses his displeasure with her decision to leave the country. Together, they stroll the railroad station, where Mary will board a train to Paris and later return to Philadelphia to reunite with her husband and daughter.
