Internes Can't Take Money
Dr. Kildare, a young physician, treats and falls in love with destitute ex-con Janet Healy, the widow of a bank robber who has lost her baby. Later on, she assists Kildare in stitching up gangster Hanlon in a back room of a tavern. Kildare chases Janet and recruits Hanlon's assistance; unsurprisingly, the gangster's solution is violent.
