Judgment at Nuremberg

In1947, four German judges who had been on the bench during the time of the Nazi government are brought before a military tribunal to answer for alleged crimes against humanity they committed. Chief Justice Haywood hears evidence and testimony not only from the lead defendant Ernst Janning and his defense attorney Hans Rolfe, but also from the widow of a Nazi general, an idealistic U.S. Army captain, and reluctant witness Irene Wallner. Janning is the defendant in this case, and Rolfe is the defense attorney for Janning.
