Since his previous partner Chick Allen entered the service, Hap Smith has a new act. His new female partner makes Hap a hilarious soldier parody. So, to sneak onto the base, Hap impersonates a hapless actual soldier, but circumstances force them to prolong the masquerade, producing an increasingly complex Army-sized SNAFU.
