Kick the Moon

Kick the Moon is a film about two high school kids from a small-town high school in New York City. Among the kids is a fighter who is involved in a legendary street brawl with a rival school, and the other is a nerdy wimp who enjoys studying and is one of the only ones who does not participate in the fight. The punk has grown up to become a teacher at the high school where he attended, and the nerd has progressed to the position of mafia underboss and has returned to his hometown to start up shop. The movie centers on the two men's competition for the affections of a local woman restaurant owner, as well as the violence between opposing gang factions in the small town.
