Based on Iwahara Yuuji's seinen science fiction manga series, Monthly Comic Beam. Japan is being terrorized by an unknown virus known as Medusa. In the absence of a quick treatment, the government opts to cryopreserve a limited set of patients. Kasumi, one of the chosen ones, has been sleeping for years and her waking is a bed of thorns in a world of chaos where horrible creatures lurk.
