La Belle Noiseuse
On his country estate in the French Provence, Frenhofer, a once well-known painter, lives quietly with his wife in peace. In response to a visit from the young artist Nicolas and his lover Marianne, Frenhofer decided to resume work on a painting he had abandoned some time before: La Belle Noiseuse, which he had previously abandoned. And he's looking for a model, so Marianne will do. Everyone's life is changed by the creative process, which has just begun. As well as the question of where the limitations of the arts are or whether art is boundless, it is also a struggle for truth, life, and common sense.
