Le Guignolo
Following the failure of his most recent criminal endeavors, worldwide con artist Alexandre Dupré travels to Venice in order to attempt to defraud some Japanese businessmen into purchasing a fake copy of a stolen Caneletto from a museum there. On the plane, a stranger approaches him and asks him to watch after his briefcase until they have touched down. But the stranger is shot dead shortly after, and Alexandre himself becomes a target for enemy agents who are eager to recover the briefcase.
