As a 12-year-old girl, Varpu has already begun to transition into adulthood, but her mother, who refuses to grow up, is still struggling with the transition. Mother and daughter Varpu have never met each other. It's now time for Varpu to get fed up with her riding companions and her mom. The only thing she knows about her father is his last name, so she decides to rob a car and head up north in pursuit of him. It turns out her father isn't quite who she had imagined. When Varpu and Siru meet him, they realize that they have a role to play in one other's lives and the world.
