Lord of the Flies

A plane carrying a group of schoolboys crashes lands on a deserted island in the midst of a nuclear war. With no adult survivors, the boys are left to fend for themselves. They initially cooperate, but when they split into two separate camps, one led by the pragmatic Ralph and the other by the militaristic Jack, their society falls apart, leading to a disturbing examination of human nature and a chilling conclusion.
