Lost Command

After being freed from a war prison in Vietnam, French Lt. Col. Pierre Raspeguy is sent to Algeria to help put down resistance groups. Raspeguy tries to turn a group of rough soldiers into a powerful fighting unit by promising to marry a beautiful countess if he becomes a general. He does this with the help of Captain Esclavier, who is tired of war, and Captain Boisfeuras, who lives for it.
