Lost in White
An ice hook has been used to remove two bodies from the frozen lake in Lost in White. Captain Zhou (Tony Leung Ka Fai), a committed cop, leads the inquiry with Xinyi, his adolescent daughter (Zhou Dongyu). A young Shanghai investigator working a missing person case joins him soon after. Toxic waste from a refinery in the region was improperly disposed of, polluting the rivers and leading to deformed newborns in the decade that followed. A red herring? Or is that missing businessman the killer?
