Love Is the Perfect Crime

Marc is a professor of literature at the University of Lausanne. He is in his 40s and has been there for a long time. Even though he's still single and lives with his sister and her family in a huge, isolated chalet that the two of them got when they were young, his students keep getting him into trouble with them all the time. Winter is almost over when one of his best students, Barbara, mysteriously vanishes from the school. When Marc meets Barbara's mother, Anna, two days after that, she wants to know more about her daughter, who hasn't been seen for a long time.
