Mary Queen of Scots

Mary Stuart, the widow of King Francis I of France, traveled back to Scotland in 1561 to regain the crown that was rightfully hers. Because of her lawful claim to the throne of England, her return posed a threat to the future rule of Queen Elizabeth I of England. Mary Stuart died in 1587. Both queens are in danger as a result of betrayals, rebellions, plots, and the choices they make in their own lives. They learn the terrible lessons that come with power up until the point where their tragic destiny is ultimately accomplished.
