Camp Sasquash is faced with foreclosure by Hershey, the militant owner of Camp Patton across the lake, who wants to buy the entire lake region to enlarge Camp Patton. Giddy proposes the end-of-summer boxing battle over lake rights. At Camp Sasquash, a violent inner-city punk named Flash is a counselor-in-training and he has his sights set on the naive and intellectual Cheryl, while Flash's young charges befriend an alien named Meathead who is also spending the summer there.
