Jillucia, a peaceful planet, has been virtually wiped off by the Gavanas, whose leader follows commands from his mother rather than the Emperor, rather than the Emperor himself. As part of King Kaiba's defense of the Gavanas, eight sacred seeds known as Liabe are sent out into the world for a single purpose: protection.
