Mountain Spirits
WANG Wen-chih, an installation artist who grew up in the mountains of Chiayi, incorporates his childhood experiences of mountains and woods into his art. WANG crafts his art with his hands and the help of others, using natural materials such as bamboo, rattan, and wood. A profound and powerful energy emanates from the vast areas he creates, which surprises and moves a large number of people. Wang's creative process is chronicled in this film.
