Move Over, Darling

Nicholas Arden and Ellen Wagstaff Arden are on a plane that crashes in the South Pacific, three years into their love marriage and with two young girls at home in Los Angeles. Although the most of the passengers survive the event, Ellen is carried off her lifeboat and her body is never found. Let's jump forward five years. Nicky has Ellen declared officially deceased so that he can go on with his life. Moving on includes remarrying, this time to Bianca Steele, whom he hopes to take on their honeymoon to the same Monterrey resort where he and Ellen honeymooned. Ellen is dropped off in Los Angeles on the same day by the Navy, which rescued her from a South Pacific island where she had been stranded for the previous five years. She requests the Navy not to make a public announcement about her rescue or notify Nicky since she prefers to handle it herself.
