Mr. & Mrs. Smith

Ann and David Smith live in New York and are happily married. Ann asks David one morning if he would marry her if he had to do it all over again. He responds, "I wouldn't," much to her surprise. They both find out later that day that they are not legally married due to a snafu when they wedded three years earlier. Ann keeps quiet about it and believes David would remarry her the next night after a beautiful meal. When this does not occur, she evicts David from their home in a rage.
