Murders in the Rue Morgue

In 19th Century Paris, the maniacal Dr. Mirakle snatches girls and also injects them with ape blood in an effort to show ape-human kinship. He frequently fulfills failure as the abducted females pass away. Clinical student Pierre Dupin finds what Mirakle is doing too late to avoid the kidnapping of his sweetheart Camille.
