My Way
Jun-shik, who works for Tatsuo's grandfather's farm while Korea is colonized by Japan, aspires to be a marathon runner at the Tokyo Olympics. Tatsuo aspires to be a marathon runner as well, and the two become rivals. However, when war breaks out, they are both forced to enlist in the army. Tatsuo is appointed as the head of defense in Jun-unit, shik's and he devises but fails to implement a plan. The Soviets have kidnapped Jun-shik and Tatsuo. They flee, but are soon apprehended by the Germans and forced to separate. They reunited on the beaches of Normandy in 1944.
