Never Cry Wolf

This film dramatizes the true story of Farley Mowat, who was dispatched to the Canadian Arctic to gather evidence of the wolf population's claimed wreaking havoc on the caribou herds. In his attempt to survive in that hostile environment, he researches wolves and discovers that popular perceptions of wolves and their menace are nearly entirely wrong. He also discovers that humans are a considerably greater threat to the land, as well as to wolves, a species that plays a critical part in the northern environment.
