Next Summer

Edouard is the father of a huge family; his second wife, Jeanne, has recently given birth and has had enough of his extramarital affairs. Edouard's girls face emotional shock waves when their parents' marriage disintegrates. Dina, who is in a relationship with the writer Paul, desires more from her everyday life, but Sidone, who is married to a fellow musician but is scared of performing in public, desires more from her daily life. Seven years later, Edouard is severely ill, and the family discusses their concerns, hopes, and anxieties.
