November Rule
To avoid getting too close to the women who seem to be getting too serious about their connection, up-and-and-coming sports shoe entrepreneur Steve, still hurting from his father's death, has instituted the "November rule." In order to end his relationship with his present girlfriend, Steve concocts a huge lie every year on November 1. However, this year, as he hands Leah her walking papers, he understands that his immature and arbitrary rule has cost him the lady of his dreams. After Leah's new relationship with James Avedon, it seems unlikely that he will be able to win her back.
